In this segment, in a bid to improve the well being of every Nigerian and African, African assorted soups and other Nigerian dishes including drinks are looked at. In the FOOD RIDDLES segment, different brain teasers or food and drink questions are asked. Callers who know the answers usually call in to say the answers, the ones who get the correct answers are given gifts. and souvenirs. The FRUIT VALUE segment deals with the nutritional value of different fruits, especially the fruits that are in SEASON. GOURMET BUSINESS segment looks at different food businesses that can be explored by our listeners. These businesses revolve around edibles, including agricultural products. The business could be small, medium or large scale. For instance, entrepreneurs who have thrived in the gourmet world are usually invited to the UNILAG FM studio to come and share their experience, so as to encourage others, especially the unemployed. Gourmet Guide encourages AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION that is as a phone – in - program people usually call in to answer questions based on food, these include all edibles, eatables, drinkables and other accompaniments like seasonings, cooking oil etc. Also, text messages are sent in by interested listeners, especially when take-home questions or teasers are asked.
