Watch out for contaminated frozen mixed vegetables

National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control’s directorate of Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (FSAN) recently raised an alarm over the importation of contaminated frozen mixed vegetables in the country.

NAFDAC has responded to an alert from the International Food Safety Authorities Network (INFOSAN) on outbreak of Listeriosis in some parts of Europe.

There have been allegations by some farmers of undue delay in disbursement of CBN loans by NIRSAL in its capacity as a Partnering Financial Institution (PFI).

However, reacting to media inquiries over the allegations, the Head of Corporate Communications,  Anne Ihugba, noted that NIRSAL was committed to timely disbursement of funds to applicants.
