Indigenous Firm Plans to Produce Over Four Thousand Metric Tonnes Per Annum
Following the Federal Government’s decision to review its fish importation policy, an indigenous firm, Premium Aquaculture Limited, has stated that it would produce 4,500 metric tonnes of catfish per annum.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development ,Doctor. Akinwumi Adesina, has declared that the rice sub-sector has generated about N470 billion to the Nigerian economy in the three and half years of the implementation of the rice transformation agenda of the President Goodluck Jonathan administration.
It would be recalled that Adesina had last year described the rice transformation programme of the present administration as added N320billion to the nation’s economy.
Avocado also known as alligator pear is a pear-shaped, egg-shaped, or spherical fruit that is rich in 26% Vitamin K, 20% Folate, 17% Vitamin C, 14% Vitamin B5, 13% Vitamin B6, 10% Vitamin E and of course 14% Potassium. This is including small amounts of Magnesium, Manganese, Copper, Iron, Zinc, Phosphorous, Vitamin A, B1 (Thiamine), B2 (Riboflavin) and B3 (Niacin).
