According to the Daily Telegraph, the new incentives to straighten out school lunches comes after claims by the Healthy Kids Association that schools are failing to enforce healthy food guidelines.

Rejected lemons win hearts of organic firm in England!

Supermarket rejected lemons at Riverford

AN organic vegetable box scheme has taken delivery of six tonnes of lemons which two major supermarkets had rejected.

Riverford Organic Farmers agreed to buy the organic lemons to deliver to their customers across the North of England alongside their seasonal veg boxes.

Lagos State Association Of Master Bakers and Caterers Of Nigeria to increase price of bread by twenty percent!

Lagos State Association Of Master Bakers and Caterers Of Nigeria, will from tomorrow Wednesday increase the price of bread by twenty percent.

Speaking at a press briefing in Lagos, the chairman of the association, Prince Jacob Adejorin, lamented the high cost of producing bread and called on the Federal Government to look into the high cost of baking ingredients. According to him, the prices of baking ingredients like flour, sugar, diesel, salt yeast, kerosene and nylon have tripled without any corresponding measures to reduce the hardship on bakers.

Lagos State Government has reportedly shut down and dislodged the cow skin (popularly known as ponmo) processing section of the Oko-Oba abattoir and Lairage Complex in Agege.
