
Nestlé Nigeria and the Lagos Business School Sustainability Centre in a partnership and collaboration workshop have hosted 3 -a day in-person sessions for journalists, editors and media professionals whose beat and story ideas cover food, nutrition, agriculture, health and environmental matters, amongst others.
The workshop was tagged “Advancing Nutrition, Health and Environmental Awareness Through the Media.”
The workshop was organised to advance the understanding and inclusion of sustainable development concerns in media coverage for media professionals in Nigeria.
These include Food and Nutrition, Agriculture, Health and Environmental Awareness sessions.
Facilitated by LBS faculty, Nestlé Nigeria resource persons and health and nutrition experts, the three-day in-person session initially featured a previous three-week intense Zoom session.

The workshop engaged and empowered media personnel with the knowledge of solutions journalism, data journalism, Authentic Storytelling and Readers Protection, Ethical and Responsible Journalism, pollution and environmental issues.
These include the knowledge of the right kind of food, nutrition, sustainability, and climate change.
The sessions which took place from Wednesday, July 26, 2023, to Friday, July 28, 2023, had professionals and facilitators who came from Lagos Business School, Pan African University and Nestle, who helped to train the various media professionals and over a 100 journalists, who converged on LBS to get familiar with the pending and trending issues.
