Baby milk contamination!

French baby milk formula maker Lactalis has ordered a global product recall over fears of salmonella contamination.

Health authorities in France said 26 infants in the country have become sick since early December.

According to the BBC, The recall affects products and exports to countries including Britain, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sudan abd this covers hundreds of baby milk powder products marketed globally under the Milumel, Picot and Celi brands.

106-year-old British fruitcake found in Antarctica!

Ice-covered Antarctica is said to be one of the earth’s most hostile natural environment, but a new discovery by the Antarctic Heritage Trust suggests that it has no match for a 106-year-old British fruitcake, which conservators found on Cape Adare.

According to the BBC, the elderly cake is believed to  belong to the  British explorer Robert Falcon Scott – known as Scott of the Antarctic.
