And so, Easter showed up again this year, the hullabaloo about the dreaded coronavirus pandemic did not stop the celebration of the crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

The annual celebration is seen as a source of hope, as many Christians celebrated the resurrection of Jesus while drawing strength and inspiration from his ability to rise from the grave on the third day.

But for many people, the various lockdown directives from various governments across countries had to keep them indoors.

In fact, Gourmet Guide234 Kitchen reliably gathered that many Christians spent most part of Easter Sunday in fasting, especially seeking divine intervention concerning COVID-19. They did not bother to eat at all!

Despite the low key celebration, which may still have to continue until everything returns to normal, many people, however, tried to make some homemade meals for themselves and members of their families within their immediate circle.

Hmmn, the show must go on.

I will be sharing some simple meals that were cooked by some foodies, which we can also prepare while we await the disappearance of COVID -19.

Beyond the Easter celebrations, you can still relish these delicacies.

These recipes are to assist a lot of foodies who are still on compulsory holiday, which may continue even after the Easter celebration, some could be owing to a lockdown directive, isolation or even outright quarantine.
