
Greggs, the British high street bakers, is planning to reopen about 800 shops for takeaways on Thursday – and the rest of its 2,050 or so outlets from early July.
According to the BBC, it’s been almost three months since Britons have been able to get their hands on the baker’s steak bakes and vegan sausage rolls.
Reports say the reopening, staff will wear protective equipment while customers can expect a limited menu, floor markings to help maintain social distancing and protective screens at the counter.
They will however be encouraged to make contactless payments.
