Lagos State Government says it is open to collaboration with the Kingdom of Denmark to ensure food security in the state.

Speaking recently, in Lagos, at Alausa during a courtesy visit by the Consul General and Head of Trade of the Kingdom of Denmark, Ms. Jette Bjerrum, to Round House, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, stressed that the request for food in Lagos has become enormous owing to its large population.

The governor was represented by the Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat.

He noted that the state has always had a relationship with the Kingdom of Denmark while stating that agriculture remains a major focus in his THEMES+ Agenda, hence the need for such a partnership.
