When it comes to food, the kitchen is the most important place in the house.

A kitchen is a room or part of a room used for  preparing and cooking good, mouthwatering aromatic food.

This could be in a habitation or dwelling place or even in a commercial establishment.

The main function of a kitchen is serving as a location for storing, cooking and preparing food as well as  doing some related tasks.

Well, every modern kitchen, whether residential or commercial, is usually equipped with so many important can -not – do – without items.

These ranges from a stove, to a  cooking gas, cabinets,  a sink with hot and cold running water, a refrigerator and amongst others.

But the question that would readily come to one’s mind would be the kinds of tools, items and gadget that one can have in the kitchen!

The extent to which a kitchen is equipped however depends on the size of the kitchen.

It is however essential to note that technological advances  have brought major changes to the kitchen.

A big kitchen will definitely accomodate many and different items unlike a small kitchen, which may just take size able items or tools.

A microwave oven, commonly referred to as a microwave, is a kitchen appliance  that is used to heat and cook food in the kitchen. A microwave cooks by exposing the food to electromagnetic radiation in the microwave spectrum. This  in turn induces polar molecules in the food to rotate and produce what is known as thermal energy.

Microwave ovens heat foods quickly and efficiently but care must be taken to cut down on microwave cooking and heating, especially because of the dangerous link between the frequent use of the microwave and cancer.
